Yes. All your medication data is stored locally on your device only — DoseNest does not use any cloud servers, does not require an account, and never sends your health data anywhere. Your data stays on your phone.
Go to the Medications tab and tap the + button in the top right. You can set the name, form (tablet, capsule, liquid…), dose amount, and schedule. A step-by-step wizard guides you through each part.
Yes. You can add multiple household members (for example: yourself, a parent, a child) and keep a separate medication schedule for each person. The medicine cabinet is shared between everyone on the same phone.
Open the app, go to the Info tab, tap "Subscription", then tap "Restore Purchases". Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so it will be restored on any iPhone signed into the same account.
The cabinet tracks how many packages of each medication you have, how many pills remain, and expiry dates. DoseNest automatically reduces the count as you log doses, and alerts you when a pack is running low or approaching its expiry date.
DoseNest schedules local notifications on your device for each dose in your schedule. Notifications work without an internet connection. You can adjust notification times in Settings → Notifications.
Open your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DoseNest → Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
An ad hoc dose is a medication taken outside your regular schedule — for example, a pain reliever taken when needed. You can log it from the Today screen by tapping the + button, optionally adding a reason.
Since DoseNest stores all data locally on your device (no cloud backup), reinstalling the app removes your data. We recommend using iPhone Backup (iCloud or iTunes) regularly so your device data — including DoseNest — is protected. Cloud sync is planned for a future version.
