Who we are

DoseNest is built by PMFOR Paweł Pasterak, a sole proprietorship based in Poland. We can be reached at contact@dosenest.app.

DoseNest is a medication and supplement tracker for seniors and their families. We designed DoseNest to keep your health data on your device — no accounts required, no analytics SDKs, no ads.

Data stored on your device

Everything you create in DoseNest is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SQLite database:

• Medications and supplements you add (name, form, dose, schedule, tags, notes)
• Dosage schedule and recurrence settings
• Adherence history (taken / skipped / ad hoc doses with timestamps)
• Cabinet inventory (package counts, expiry dates, remaining quantities)
• Family observer contacts (name, phone or email — stored locally only)
• Settings (language, notification preferences, alert thresholds)
• Subscription state (whether you have an active subscription, trial start date)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use a feature that sends it to a third-party service (see below).

Data sent off your device

RevenueCat

When you start a free trial or purchase a subscription, RevenueCat processes the subscription on our behalf. RevenueCat is a subscription management platform used by thousands of apps.

• What is sent: an anonymous device identifier and your purchase receipt (signed by Apple)
• What RevenueCat does NOT receive: your name, email, payment details (Apple processes payment directly)

Apple App Store

All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Apple may share crash data and basic device information (model, OS version) with us via App Store Connect Analytics.

Family notifications (push)

If you invite a family observer, DoseNest uses Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) to send them notifications (e.g. "Mom took all her medications today ✓"). Notifications are triggered locally on your device and routed through APNs.

• The payload contains only status summaries (taken / skipped / low stock alerts) — never medication names or health details visible to Apple

The website (dosenest.app)

If you visit dosenest.app, basic web server logs are kept (IP, timestamp, page) for security purposes only. The site uses no tracking cookies or analytics SDKs.

Health data

DoseNest does not connect to Apple Health (HealthKit). Medication and adherence data is stored only in the DoseNest local database and is not shared with Health app or any health platform.

Children

DoseNest is designed for adults (seniors). It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app stores no personal data on our servers at any age.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because DoseNest stores everything on your device, you have full control:

• Access: open the app — your data is there
• Delete: delete the app from your iPhone, which removes all local data permanently
• Cancel subscription: in your Apple ID Settings, anytime

EU residents may file a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO) if you believe your rights have been violated.

Security

Data on your device is protected by iOS's standard sandbox encryption (your iPhone passcode). API calls to RevenueCat and APNs use HTTPS/TLS.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as we add features. Material changes will be highlighted in the next app update. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
