Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DoseNest ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are between you and PMFOR Paweł Pasterak, sole proprietorship based in Poland ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: contact@dosenest.app.

2. Description of Service

DoseNest is a medication and supplement tracker for seniors and their families. It helps you manage your dosage schedule, track adherence, monitor cabinet inventory, and keep your family informed — all stored locally on your device.

Medical disclaimer: DoseNest is a personal organization tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist regarding medications.

3. Apple Standard End User License Agreement

Your use of DoseNest is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at:

These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. In case of conflict, the Apple Standard EULA prevails for matters covered by it.

4. Subscription

DoseNest requires an active subscription to use the full app (hard paywall — no free tier).

4.1 Plans available

• Monthly — $6.99 per month, auto-renewing
• Yearly — $49.99 per year, auto-renewing (saves ~40% vs Monthly)

Prices may vary by region as set in your Apple App Store account.

4.2 Free trial

Each new user is offered a 7-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

4.3 Auto-renewal

Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your iTunes Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

4.4 Cancellation

You can cancel any subscription anytime:

• iPhone Settings → tap your name (Apple ID) → Subscriptions → DoseNest → Cancel

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are given for unused portions of the current period.

4.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple per their refund policy:

We cannot issue refunds directly. Contact Apple Support to request a refund.

4.6 Payment processing

All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not see your payment details. Subscription state is tracked by RevenueCat on our behalf — see our Privacy Policy.

5. Medical Disclaimer

DoseNest is not a medical device and is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Do not use DoseNest as your sole reminder system for critical medications without backup safeguards
• DoseNest does not verify medication names, dosages, or interactions
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your medications
• In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately

We expressly disclaim any liability for health outcomes resulting from reliance on DoseNest.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use DoseNest only for personal medication tracking
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Not use DoseNest to violate any law or third-party rights
• Not use the family notification feature to monitor someone without their knowledge or consent

7. Third-Party Services

DoseNest uses third-party services to provide features. By using these features, you agree to their terms:

8. Intellectual Property

DoseNest, its design, code, and content are the property of PMFOR Paweł Pasterak. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DoseNest for personal use only, per the Apple Standard EULA.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

DoseNest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• Notifications will be delivered at the exact time scheduled
• Family observers will receive every alert
• Cabinet depletion estimates will be perfectly accurate
• The app will be available without interruption

You are solely responsible for ensuring you take your medications correctly.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PMFOR Paweł Pasterak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of DoseNest, including but not limited to missed doses, incorrect medication records, or missed expiry alerts.

Our total liability for any claim related to DoseNest shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the next app update. Continued use of DoseNest after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any dispute will be resolved by Polish courts competent for the seat of PMFOR Paweł Pasterak.

EU consumers retain rights under their local consumer law and may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
